Provide diagnostic services and treating symptoms associated with eye diseases both children and adults
It covers surgery in cases where abnormalities are complicated. With the expertise of ophthalmologists and treatment technology resulting in accurate treatment gives good results in treatment for the best benefit of the patient.

TREATMENTS

The available treatments are as follows:

  • Treatment for short-sightedness and long-sightedness with LASIK
  • Diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma disease
  • Diagnosis and treatment of all types of eye accidents (Ocular Trauma)
  • Diagnosis and treatment of cornea disease
  • Diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in children (Pediatric Ophthalmology)
  • Diagnosis and treatment of Neuroophthalmological diseases
  • Diagnosis and treatment of eye inflammation (Uveitis)

LASIK (Laser In-Situ Keratomileusis) is a surgery that can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism using a laser light called an Excimer Laser.

LASIK consists of two main steps:

First is the Glass Layer Separation Process using a corneal separation by Femto Laser.  It takes only 30 to 60 seconds to separate the cornea layer as thin as 100 microns. This is the most sensitive part of the procedure.

Then begins the second step, the Laser Shooting Procedure using the Excimer Laser to adjust the cornea's surface to the proper curvature. This allows light and vision to pass through the refracted eye to the point of view.

This incredible surgery takes only 15 minutes per treatment on both sides.

It offers high accuracy and is able to maintain visual acuity from 0.75 D to - 10.00 D depending on the thickness of the glass.

By the next day the patient already has 80-90% visibility.

Before surgery is undertaken a patient will have a thorough examination to first check the condition of the eyes.
LASIK VISION CORRECTION

LASIK vision correction is focused on permanent vision correction.

It’s suitable for people with nearsightedness - 0.75 to -10.00 D, or astigmatism not more than -5.00 D, depending on corneal thickness.

PRK VISION CORRECTION

Likewise, PRK Vision Correction is a permanent vision correction procedure that generally takes 2-3 days for recovery.

Its most suitable for people with a thin cornea or nearsightedness of -0.75 to -4.00 D, and astigmatism that does not exceed -3.00 D-

TRAN PRK VISION CORRECTION

Tran PRK vision correction has a recovery time of about 1-2 days, shorter than PRK, and offers permanent results.

Its suitable for people with a thin cornea or nearsightedness of -0.75 to -6.00 D, and an astigmatism that does not exceed -3.00 D-.

Doctors use laser to shoot directly at the cornea to make the wound smoother and ensure the wound heals faster.

WHAT’S NEW?

The technology in this field is constantly evolving.

Until now, the most advanced method of vision correction has been LASIK surgery.

However, while LASIK is still a great choice for a wider population of patients, the innovative new procedure known as Relex Clear, is an excellent alternative for patients who require surgical treatment for myopia or astigmatism but lack thickness in the cornea.

HOW DOES RELEX CLEAR WORK?

Relex Clear is likewise a minimally invasive refractive surgery that’s incredibly smooth and precise.

In this process the lenticule is removed mechanically through a small incision, whereas in LASIK a femtosecond laser is used to cut a corneal flap.

With Relex Clear the inner corneal tissue is separated into a 3D shape (lenticule) through the use of a femtosecond laser, after which the lenticule is removed through a small corneal surface incision of only 2-4 millimeters, which reshapes the cornea and improves visual acuity.

The major difference between this and LASIK is the corneal flap.
Because Relex Clear does not include this procedure, patients can avoid the possible complications of flap shifts or injury in the future.

The Relex Clear procedure also promises a faster healing time, few complications and better results while reducing eye irritation.

Most patients can return to their normal activities within a couple days after the surgery.

WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU?

Determining who is suitable for the various forms of eye surgery will depend on the doctor’s advice and the patient’s eye condition.

Treatment will generally be offered to those who are 18 years of age or older and have a fixed sight for at least 1 year.

You won’t be allowed to proceed with LASIK surgeries or Relex Clear if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you suffer from any eye diseases such as cornea, severe dry eyes or macular degeneration.

Other physical conditions may also disqualify you from treatment if it can potentially affect wound healing – such as SLE, HIV, diabetes, cataracts or glaucoma to name a few.

REMOVING CATARACTS

For older patients, the Eye & LASIK Center offers new hope and changed lives especially when it comes to cataracts.

Cataracts are very common as we get older. At first, a patient may not notice that they have a cataract, but over time, cataracts can make vision blurry, hazy, or less colorful.

One of the key specialties here is Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery or FLACS. Utilizing sharp corneal incision, precise circular capsulotomy and nuclear softening, cataracts are removed with incredible results.
